To maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment, all students and parents are expected to follow the rules and regulations of Shri Durga Shiksha Niketan Public School:
Students must attend school regularly and reach on time.
A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory for appearing in the final examination.
Leave of absence must be supported with a written application by parents/guardians.
In case of illness for more than 3 days, a medical certificate must be submitted.
Students must wear the proper and complete school uniform on all working days.
Uniform should be clean and well-ironed.
Wearing ID cards daily is compulsory.
Parents must take a uniform sample reference from school before purchase.
Students must maintain discipline in classrooms, corridors, playgrounds, and school transport.
Use of abusive language, bullying, or misconduct will result in strict action.
Damaging school property is strictly prohibited. Cost of damage will be recovered from the student(s) responsible.
Use of mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic gadget is strictly prohibited in school.
If found, the item will be confiscated and returned only to the parent after proper inquiry.
Students must maintain personal hygiene and keep the school campus clean.
Littering and defacing walls or desks is not allowed.
All students must complete homework and assignments on time.
Cheating in exams or plagiarism in assignments is a serious offense.
Parents must attend PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings) regularly.
Any behavioral or academic concern should be discussed with the class teacher or Principal during visiting hours.
Students must respect school property. Scribbling on walls or furniture is not allowed.
Any intentional damage must be compensated by the student.
Students must follow all rules in the library, computer lab, and science lab.
Silence must be maintained in these areas at all times.
Violations of school rules may lead to warnings, suspension, or in extreme cases, expulsion from school.
The decision of the Principal shall be final in all disciplinary matters.
